Location is perfect, 2 minutes walking to Istiklal and 5 mins to Taksim Square and in a quite street Breakfast was very good Room was clean and comfortable Front desk allowed early check in at 8 AM free of charge Ms. Gozde and Mr. Ayhan at the breakfast restaurant were more than hospitable and helpful, they welcome guests and ask continuously if we need to drink anything Also Ms. Nour at house keeping was a very nice lady, she makes up the room very neatly and she was helpful and cooperative

We had a lovely experience at this hotel. The room was nice, clean, and very comfortable – exactly what you need after a day of sightseeing. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the main shopping street and very convenient for reaching all the key attractions in the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was incredibly rich with a wide variety of options to suit every taste – from omelettes and fresh salads to fruits, vegetables, cakes, and more. A special shout-out to Ayhan and Gözde from the breakfast team – they were absolutely wonderful! Their friendliness and attention to detail really made us feel welcome and ensured we had a great start to each day. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay here again!

The hotel is perfectly situated next to a metro line and a tram that will get you to the main center of Istambul in 20 - 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us and ensure we had a pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean with lots of amenities that were renewed daily (bottle of water, coffee, shampoos and conditionners...ect.). It really was an incredible experience and I would recommend this hotel to all

Firstly, the location was fantastic! Being so close to Istiklal Street made it very convenient for us to explore the area. The room size was also impressive, offering plenty of space and maintaining a high level of cleanliness. However, we did find the bed size to be a bit smaller than expected, which affected our comfort slightly. On the other hand, the breakfast experience was somewhat average. While the selection was decent, most of the items were unfortunately cold. It would be wonderful if this could be improved in the future to enhance the overall dining experience. I must commend your staff, particularly Ayhan and Gozde. They were exceptionally helpful and attentive, truly adding a positive touch to our stay. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and well cared for.

Location is close to all attractions. Quiet street and nice connected family room. Stuff was amazing very helpful and fast reaction for any request. Breakfast was also a remarkable and highly recommended include many varieties everyday. I would appreciate Mr. AYHAN and Ms GOZDE in the restaurant for their daily support and continuous follow up for any need during everyday breakfast.

We stayed at Makarnas Taksim for 5 nights and it was a superb experience. The location is amazing, its off istaklal street and a 2 min walk from Taksim square which meant easy access to the Metro and Bus. Breakfast was excellent and value for money. A special mention for the staff, very hospitable and helpful. AYMAN and GOZDE in the breakfast hall were amazing, my kids loved them and they were always ready to offer you extra options in breakfast.

I returned yesterday and completely fell in love with the city of Istanbul. What made my trip even more memorable was the incredible hotel experience. I sincerely want to thank Ahmed for his warm welcome on our first day and his exceptional support throughout our stay until checkout. I also want to express my gratitude to Serhat, who greeted us with a smile every time. Lastly, I can’t forget Ayhan and Gözde, who were incredibly kind, attentive to every detail, and whose presence at breakfast made every morning a delight. If I come back to Istanbul, I won't hesitate I will return to this hotel

The location of the hotel is great, it is very close to Taksim Square and there are a lot of restaurants and bars close by. You can reach major attractions by foot. The beds were really comfortable and everything was spotless clean. The staff working at the hotel are all outstanding, all of them have been super friendly and helpful. Our waiter Ayhan at Breakfast was very attentive and his service was superb.

Location is excellent. Bunch of restaurants near, metro and funicular station close. Really clean and you got all the amenities. The sound proofing of our rooms was excellent. We did not hear a thing. Everyone in the staff was really respectful and the lady and the gent from the breakfast restaurant were really nice (Ayhan and Gozde) One shout out to the cleaning lady who did clean our rooms flawlessly. In some 4-5 stars hotel, I didn’t had such services. Thank you Asli. All in all a great stay, will return for sure.
